"Country Lovers," a short story by Nadine Gordimer, will be the subject of a common reading in the Ostermeyer Room of the Student Community Center on Thursday, October 13 at 12:15 p.m.
Mildred Mickle, Assistant Professor of English, will be conducting the discussion of the reading as part of Teaching Africa.
Teaching Africa is planned by the campus to bring international news and current events to the student population of Penn State McKeesport. Africa is the focus of the campus's 2005 curriculum. The campus faculty has planned activities both in and out of the classroom which educate the students on African history and culture during the Spring and Fall semesters.
