Psych students walk for mental health

Students of the Psychological Association of Greater Allegheny recently organized a NAMIWalks team and nearly tripled their fundraising goal.

For the fourth year, students in the Psychological Association of Penn State Greater Allegheny (Psych Club), along with campus faculty and staff, will participate in the NAMIWalks Southwestern Pennsylvania event Oct. 1.

Greater Allegheny Psych Club walks in support of mental health organization

For the third year, students in the Psychological Association of Penn State Greater Allegheny (Psych Club) are participating in the NAMIWalks southwestern Pennsylvania event on Sunday, Oct. 2. The event is a 5K benefiting the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and, according to club officers Dally Moore and Emilie Betters, is the first major club event of the 2016-17 academic year.
