Biobehavioral Health major requirements

Basic requirements

The Biobehavioral Health (BBH) major requires a minimum of 120 credits. Students take a 31 credit core of BBH, biology, psychology and nutrition courses, plus statistics and ethics. Students can then choose courses in the remaining groups of science and social science classes to fit their career and graduate school goals.

The detailed list of requirements for the major can be found in the Undergraduate Degree Program Bulletin listing for BBH. A checklist is available to help you keep track of your completed degree requirements.

Recommended academic plan

Also available is a semester-by-semester plan for BBH, which shows the typical sequence of courses at Greater Allegheny.  The recommended academic plan should always be reviewed with an academic adviser, as there may be additional options or choices depending on a student's interest and background.
