Travel to Greatness is a visitation program that is designed to allow each high school located in the southeast Pittsburgh area the opportunity to provide their students with a college visit experience.
Program Details
The Office of Enrollment Management will partner with high school counselors and personnel to provide students an immersive visit to Penn State Greater Allegheny where they will explore our campus, learn about life as a college student, and interact with current students, faculty, and staff. Visits are designed for current high school seniors and are tailored to the visiting school to meet the needs of their students. Some benefits of the visit program include:
- Complimentary bus transportation to and from the PSUGA campus for students and chaperones
- Complimentary lunch for all students and chaperones
- Campus Tour which highlights McKeesport Residence Hall
- Admissions Presentation by an Admissions Counselor
- Panel discussion with current PSUGA Students

Dates, Times, & Availability
Travel to Greatness visits are available most Thursdays. Morning visits are available from 9:00am–1:00pm and afternoon visits are available from 11:00am–3:00pm. Visits are scheduled on a first come first serve basis.
