Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)

Provides basic and limited advanced emergency care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. This individual will function as part of a comprehensive EMS response team. Under medical oversight the A-EMT will perform interventions with the basic and advanced equipment typically found on an ambulance. The A-EMT is a link from the scene to the emergency health care system.
*Must be 18 years of age or older and a Pennsylvania State Certified Emergency Medical Technician to enroll in this course.

Date: January 27 to June 9, 2025
Hybrid Program. All course work and exams completed online.
Lab sessions every Monday, starting January 27, 2025 from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. at these locations:

Mandatory Zoom orientations January 14 and 16 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
