PSUGA Recruitment Calendar Commitment Form 2017-2018

A program allowing prospective students to follow a current student and to interact with faculty and staff. Application and financial aid workshops will be included for those who need to complete those steps of the process. Dates and times vary, based upon prospective student requests. One specific event will occur on February 2, 2018. If you volunteer to host students in your classes on Shadow Days, you will be notified ahead of time to ensure the date and time is good for you and your classroom plans for that day.
Tuesday, October 17 from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm A program focusing on the academic offerings at Penn State featuring repeating concurrent sessions.
Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 10:30am – 1:00pm Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 5:30pm – 8:00pm A program to recognize the prospective students who were offered PSUGA scholarships during our first round of awarding.
Monday, February 19, 2018 from 11:15am-2:00pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 4:45pm-7:30pm Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10:00am-12:00pm Individual and group events designed to showcase the best PSUGA offers and to encourage prospective students to accept their offers of admission. The last ASP is a specialized “Visit Us Saturday” program
Saturday, April 21, 2017 from 10:00am – 12:30pm A first look program for high school juniors designed to capture their interest and build their enthusiasm for PSUGA.
An all campus telephone campaign to promote the National Deposit Date of May 1st, with a goal of turning our offered students into paid students!
Help us spread the word that PSUGA is the place to be! Through posters, yard signs, social media posts, and old fashion word of mouth, help us increase our numbers, be it visitors to campus, engaged participants on social media, participants in events, or applicants and committed students.
The Admissions Office will use short video clips featuring members of the PSUGA campus community – present and past. Would you like to share with prospective students your thoughts on what makes PSUGA a special place, and the perfect place to begin a Penn State degree? Let us know and we will be in touch with you!
Faculty designed programs to which specific high schools are invited. Enrollment Management provides logistical support, transportation of students, and lunch. Faculty deliver the program content.
