Shawn in Pittsburgh

Student Spotlight: Meet Shawn

Shawn attends Penn State Greater Allegheny for a degree in Marketing through the Smeal College of Busniess. Shawn is apart of the 2 plus 2 program, so he will start here then finish at University Park. He first heard about Greater Allegheny from his cousin, who is now an alumni of the campus. Shawn ultimately chose Penn State, because of the amazing alumni the campus has attached with it and the amazing programs offered, but also by extension Greater Allegheny because it is close to home and the amazing environment that comes with the campus. “Greater Allegheny is a big family, and a sort of home away from home.” When not in class Shawn could be giving a tour with lion ambassadors, or tying to raise money for THON.
