Emma Hance, program manager and strategic planning specialist for the Readiness Institute at Penn State, and Christopher Robinson, assistant professor of social work and director of the bachelor of social work program at Penn State Greater Allegheny, have been named as two of Pittsburgh Magazine's 40 Under 40 for 2023.

Class of 2024 votes to establish the UPUA Basic Needs Endowment

At an event held on Oct. 31, leaders from the Student Philanthropy Network announced that the class of 2024 has voted to create the University Park Undergraduate Association Basic Needs Endowment as their class gift. The fund will provide sustained support for students facing hardships in pursuit of their degree.

College of Medicine hosts first group of clinical research interns

Six Penn State students are better prepared for careers in clinical research thanks to a summer internship program at Penn State College of Medicine. For eleven weeks, the interns took active roles in existing research projects, immersed themselves in the conduct of research and learned more about careers in clinical research.
