Penn State’s Consortium to Combat Substance Abuse recently announced the first three recipients of its Community Fellows Program awards, designed to provide release time for faculty members to develop community collaborations and build sustainable, evidence-based or evidence-informed programs, policies and practices that can effectively address substance use and related issues within a targeted community in Pennsylvania.
Penn State Greater Allegheny will open an art exhibit displaying the work of the next Crossing Bridges Summit speaker, Vanessa German. The display will run from Tuesday, April 2, to Saturday, April 6.
Regis W. Becker, Wade T. Lipscomb II, James E. Minarik, and Nancy and John Traina were honored at Greater Allegheny’s Scholarship and Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony, on March 23, at the Duquesne Club in downtown Pittsburgh.
