Biography

Dr. Mickle's area of expertise is African American studies and creative writing.  She has published two books and several essays on a variety of African American literary topics.  She is also a published poet.  

She performs belly dance regularly with Troupe Faraatha in the Greater Pittsburgh area.  And, she is the Theatre Coordinator at PSU-Greater Allegheny.
