University Scholarships – Renewal Requirements

 

Greater Allegheny Blue & White

The Blue & White scholarship is a two (2) year scholarship from Greater Allegheny, with the second year renewable as long as you are attending Greater Allegheny and have a cumulative Grade Point Average  (CGPA) of 3.0 or greater at the end of the spring semester.

 

Provost Scholarship

The Provost scholarship is a two (2) year scholarship from Penn State, with the second year renewable as long as you are attending a Commonwealth Campus and have a cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 or greater at the end of the spring semester. If a scholarship is lost due to a low CGPA, it will not be re-instated in future semesters.

 

Chancellor Scholarship

The Chancellor scholarship is a two (2) year scholarship from Penn State, with the second year renewable as long as you are attending a Commonwealth Campus and have a cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 or greater at the end of the spring semester. If a scholarship is lost due to a low CGPA, it will not be re-instated in future semesters.

 

Commonwealth Campus Award

The Commonwealth Campus Award is a two (2) year scholarship from Penn State, with the second year renewable as long as you are attending Greater Allegheny and have a cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 or greater at the end of the spring semester. If a scholarship is lost due to a low CGPA, it will not be re-instated in future semesters.

 

Bunton Waller Scholarships

Full-time students in resident instruction (not available for World Campus students) who have the highest financial need are considered for the Bunton-Waller Scholarship. The annual award is $3200, renewable for up to four years, provided the student maintains a 2.5 cumulative GPA. First year students should file the FAFSA no later than March 1. Continuing students should file the FAFSA no later than April 15.

 

Pittsburgh Promise

Maintain a full-time course load as defined by Penn State, 12 or more credits per-term.

 

Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0.
