Faculty, staff, students and community members who attended the University's first 2017 Strategic Planning forum on Jan. 23 discussed the topic Stewarding our Planet's Resources while answering the question "What is a 21st century land-grant university?"
Penn State Greater Allegheny Advisory Board Member James Lawrence discussed the recycling industry, a field Lawrence has worked in for the past 40 years, and working with the University on issues such as storm water and reusable materials with Tom Richard, director of the Penn State Institutes for Energy and the Environment. The discussion on Jan. 23, 2017, was part of the University's first Strategic Planning forum, which focused on Stewarding our Planet's Resources.
