Financial Support is within Reach

Around 88% of our students receive some form of aid, and for those who qualify, the average award typically covers more than half of tuition.

All first-year applicants are automatically reviewed for campus-based scholarships when they apply by our Scholarship Priority Deadline (February 1). These scholarships are merit-based and awarded to students who have demonstrated strong academic and personal achievements.

Greater Allegheny campus prides itself in partnering with students and families to help meet their needs, from academics to student engagement and affordability. Students may qualify for financial aid programs that ease the financial burden associated with completing a college degree.

Your success starts here. Choose from 10 bachelor’s degrees and 5 associate programs, including Penn State’s only Bachelor of Social Work. With the 2+2 Plan, you can begin at Greater Allegheny campus and move into any of Penn State’s 275+ majors after your first two years. You’ll learn in a supportive community, explore your interests, and build real experience that prepares you for your future.
