Dr. James Stewart, Professor of African and African American Studies and Labor and Industrial Relations, will highlight the changes and continuities between Apartheid and post-Apartheid South Africa during his campus presentation on Tuesday, October 25 in the Frable Conference Center, Room 117. Dr. Stewart 's slide presentation and discussion on the subject will be personalized by his own experiences, gained during his visits to South Africa in the 1980's and 1990's.
The children's theatre class will be presenting six African folk tales, as part of this year's Teaching Africa focus.
The play, directed by Dr. Jay Breckenridge, is called "Shards of Wisdom: Folk Tales from Around Africa."
