Frable 301 - Engineering Laboratory. Former office storage space was redesigned and constructed to offer Engineering students a collaborative working space. Monitors on all walls allow faculty to mirror content from the iPad, making it visible from multiple locations in the room.
The Crawford 104 Classroom renovation increased the room's square footage and incorporated a flexible and dynamic layout, ideal for collaborative small group work. The Edwin R. Crawford Trust contributed financial support to this project.
The Ostermayer Laboratory at the completion of the $14.7 million renovation project to modernize and improve the existing 22,000-square-foot space at Penn State Greater Allegheny. The use of digital tools and research-based approaches in teaching were considered in designing classroom and common areas.
Built in 1973, Ostermayer Lab currently houses two biology and two chemistry teaching laboratories, along with four research laboratory spaces, a laboratory preparation space, faculty and staff offices, and one general purpose classroom.
