Campus faculty presented their work at the 2009 Symposium on Teaching and Learning with Technology, which is intended to explore "ways that faculty are using technology to enhance teaching, learning, and research" (symposium.tlt.psu.edu).
Web 2.0 Tools for Civic and Global Engagement summarized work by Margaret Signorella, Lori Hepner, Veronica Montecinos, and Kathleen Taylor Brown in which various technologies were used to engage students in topics of civic and global importance.
Kathleen Taylor Brown and Communications major Emily Blake showed how communications students did research and then summarized their results in videos.
