The Inauguration of the 44th President Aired on Campus

Over 100 Penn State Greater Allegheny students, faculty, and staff joined together to witness the historic inauguration of Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the United States. The ceremony was televised at noon, Tuesday, January 20 in the dining hall in the Student Community Center.

Kelly Library had two additional locations for watching the event. As part of the week's activities, the library also broadcast Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech in its entirety on January 19.
