Ivy Ero and Alyssa Dolney from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will address ?Hunger and the Food Crisis from a Local Perspective.?
Ero and Dolney will speak about the work of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, which serves 11 counties and over 350 member organizations (food pantries, soup kitchens, etc.) in western Pennsylvania. Their talk will address the issue of hunger and the world food crisis from a local and regional perspective. This event is open to the entire campus community.
The talk is sponsored by the Teaching International program, which has food security as the theme for this year.
