MCKEESPORT, Pa. — A group of Pittsburgh community and industry leaders provide support and advice to Penn State Greater Allegheny’s leadership. The advisory board works with the administration to enhance educational outreach opportunities to the surrounding communities.
At the end of 2018, Greater Allegheny’s advisory board elected four new officers to fill the positions of president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.
The newly elected officers are Karen Kutzer (president), principal and owner of Karen Kutzer Associates; John Keyes (vice president), vice president of Tube City IMS Corporation; Dennis Menteny (secretary and nominating chair), director at Blue Water Growth, LLC.; and James Lawson (treasurer), CPA and partner at Baker Tilly.
These officers officially accepted their duties on Jan. 1.
“I am so grateful to our newly elected officers for their willingness to serve on our advisory board. These new officers bring wonderful experience to our board and a strong commitment to Penn State Greater Allegheny,” said Jacqueline Edmondson, chancellor and chief academic officer. “Their service will make a difference for our students and our campus. I really can’t thank them enough, and I look forward to working with each of them as we continue to provide transformative educational experiences for our students.”
