Penn State Greater Allegheny Hosts Annual Penn State Day

Penn State Greater Allegheny in McKeesport, PA will host its Annual Penn State Day for prospective students and their families on Saturday, September 21, 2019 beginning at 9:30am in the Student Community Center, 4000 University Drive, McKeesport, PA.

“Penn State’s world class education is accessible and affordable for students who begin their college experience at Greater Allegheny,” said Melan Hasquet, Director for Admissions and Student Aid. “Our commitment to provide students a transformative educational experience is realized through innovative programs that provide an iPad to each student or welcome freshmen to conduct research with a member of our faculty. Penn State’s tuition structure allows students who begin at Greater Allegheny to save approximately $5,000 annually over the tuition cost at one of Penn State’s larger campuses.”

During Penn State Day, students and families will participate in workshops that introduce them to student services, academic programs, and financial aid programs. Campus tours will highlight the facilities on the 52‐acre campus, including McKeesport Hall, the residential building with housing for 200 students.

All guests will enjoy lunch and can watch the Penn State Greater Allegheny Women’s Volleyball team take on Penn State Beaver at 2pm in the Wunderley Gymnasium.
