The Mon Valley LaunchBox is a Penn State and Penn State Greater Allegheny-led entrepreneurship and innovation program that supports students, founders, and community members as they turn ideas into action. Through mentorship, resources, and connection, the LaunchBox helps individuals build skills, launch ventures, and strengthen the regional economy.
As part of Invent Penn State, the Mon Valley LaunchBox brings together higher education, industry, and community partners to foster innovation and opportunity across the Mon Valley.

The Mon Valley LaunchBox is committed to building an inclusive culture of innovation that expands access to entrepreneurship and supports underrepresented founders.
By providing guidance, education, and practical support, the LaunchBox works to increase the number of entrepreneurs in the region and empower individuals to create sustainable businesses that positively impact their communities.
Currently, all Mon Valley LaunchBox clients are minority-owned businesses, with a majority led by African American women.
