Step 1: Visit Penn State Greater Allegheny

Register for a Campus Visit: Explore our vibrant campus by scheduling a visit or attending an admissions event. Visit our Schedule a Visit page to sign up.

Meet with an Admissions Counselor: If you can't visit campus, meet with a Penn State Greater Allegheny admissions counselor at your high school, college, or a college fair.
Step 2: Obtain Your High School Transcript
- Request an unofficial transcript from your high school guidance office. You'll need this for the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) section of your Penn State application.
Step 3: Fill Out Your Application
- Complete your Penn State application through MyPennState or the Common App. When prompted for payment, do not enter any credit card information or submit payment.
Step 4: Submit the Fee Waiver Request Form
- Complete the fee waiver request form provided. After submission, we'll process your fee waiver and notify you via email once it's approved. You can then finalize and submit your application.
Please refrain from paying the application fee or entering payment information during the application process. Once payment is made, fee waivers cannot be processed or refunded.
