During his remarks, Penn State President Eric J. Barron acknowledged Greater Allegheny's campaign co-chairs Kelley Lynch, the president of the Penn State Alumni Association and Dennis Meteny for their efforts in helping support the mission of the campus.
McKeesport Mayor Mike Cherepko spoke of the strong partnership between Greater Allegheny and the City of McKeesport. Cherepko attended the campus prior to completing his degree at University Park.
