Journalist and filmmaker Zarqa Nawaz visits mosques throughout Canada and talks to scholars, colleagues, friends and neighbors about equal access for women.
This documentary covers the historical role and the current state of Canadian mosques regarding the presence of women, mainly focusing on how they are regarded by their parish.

Damaged Care is a fact-based drama about the managed care industry. Laura Dern co-produced and stars in the film as Dr. Linda Peeno, who worked as a medical reviewer and medical director for two different HMOs. Her job was to make life-or-death decisions about which patients would be approved or denied the care they neeeded.
The stories in Damaged Care portray the timeless and global tensions between cost and care, economics and ethics, and society and individual patients.

Nancy Herron, associate vice president and senior associate dean for Commonwealth Campuses emeritus, is serving as interim chancellor of Penn State Greater Allegheny. Her appointment began Jan. 1. It has been 14 years since Herron last called the campus home. She said, "Despite Thomas Wolfe's message in his 1940s posthumous novel, 'You Can't Go Home Again,' the truth is, you really can."

Penn State Greater Allegheny is offering Nursing Home Administrator training. The campus has been registered and approved as a training institution by the Department of Public Welfare for purposes of Chapter 2600. Its 120-hour, standardized, department-approved curriculum for nursing home administrators provides the core program required for individuals interested in receiving licensure. In addition, the courses can satisfy PA State Nurses Association Contact Hours.
Penn State Greater Allegheny will offer a new four-year degree program in Administration of Justice, with classes beginning summer 2014.
The major is intended for students interested in pursuing careers in criminal justice, either immediately after obtaining the baccalaureate degree, or after graduate school. Students can complete either a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
