High school students 'shadow' to learn more about Penn State

MCKEESPORT, Pa. — Penn State Greater Allegheny students will see their shadows on Groundhog Day, Feb. 2 — their high-school shadows, that is. High-school juniors and seniors are invited to shadow a college student for the day.

On Shadow Day, students will learn about the rules of the college classroom, followed by attending a class with a current college student. They will hear an admissions presentation, tour the campus, and have lunch. At noon, they will attend the All In (Penn State's Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion initiative) presentation, and then they can get help on their Penn State applications.

The campus Lion Ambassadors will serve as student tour guides, and will be on-hand to offer their perspectives and answer questions. The campus will waive the application fee for students who complete their Fall 2017 application on-site.

Register here, and join us for a fun and informative day.
