Penn State delegation fostering partnerships abroad

A delegation from three Pittsburgh-area Penn State campuses — including Beaver, Greater Allegheny and New Kensington — will visit two universities in Europe this summer to foster global partnerships and expand the Experiential Digital Global Engagement, or EDGE, program.

Verónica Montecinos publishes new book

Verónica Montecinos, professor of sociology at Penn State Greater Allegheny, has published a new book titled  “Women Presidents and Prime Ministers in Post-Transition Democracies,” which analyzes the cultural, institutional and policy dimensions of the ascent of women to executive power.
