Nine incoming first-year students honed their academic skills before officially starting their college courses. Now in its fourth year, the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program began at Penn State Greater Allegheny on July 29 and ran through Aug. 20.

The Penn State Greater Allegheny Admissions department will be holding two virtual events on Wednesday, July 10. These events allow prospective students to interact with current students and admissions staff via a live webinar. First-year students in the engineering program at Penn State Greater Allegheny are experiencing a fun new way of learning. The campus recently purchased a 3-D printer with funds from a grant called Toys 'N More, which is a National Science Foundation program aimed at increasing the retention of engineering students.
