Supporting Student Success and Campus Engagement
The Division of Student Affairs at Penn State Greater Allegheny provides programs and services that help students grow as leaders, engage with their communities, and prepare for life after graduation.
Citizenship, Engagement, and Leadership Development
Student Affairs creates opportunities for involvement, leadership development, and collaboration across campus. These experiences help students build the skills needed to be responsible and engaged members of their communities.
Support and Advocacy
Student Affairs supports students as they navigate college life and prepare for their future careers. Staff members provide guidance, connect students with campus resources, and advocate for students who may need additional support.
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
Student Affairs promotes an inclusive campus environment where students and staff can grow through learning, dialogue, and experiences that encourage understanding across cultures and perspectives.
Wellness and Well-Being
Student Affairs promotes wellness as an important part of student success. Wellness is a holistic and active process that helps individuals make choices that support a healthy and successful college experience.
The wellness model includes nine dimensions: physical, social, emotional, spiritual, financial, cultural, environmental, occupational, and intellectual.
