Ramon "Tony" Rivera has been an adjunct instructor for the Social Work and Psychology programs at Penn State Greater Allegheny. Mr. Rivera is an alum of Penn State Greater Allegheny, earning a B.S. in Psychology.  Mr. Rivera went on to earn his Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, with a concentration in mental health and a sub-concentration in military social work. He is a License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania. Mr. Rivera is currently employed at VA Pittsburgh as the Innovation Coordinator for the Caregiver Support Program where he developed VET-CARE MH, a program for caregivers of Veterans in mental health recovery.  He also currently works as a casual relief pool therapist at Pittsburgh Mercy.  His prior experience includes working for the PA Department of Corrections at SCI Pittsburgh & Fayette, UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital, and Pennsylvania Western University, California.
