Biography
Ramon "Tony" Rivera is an adjunct instructor for the Bachelor of Social Work Program at Penn State Greater Allegheny. Mr. Rivera is an alum of Penn State Greater Allegheny, earning a B.S. in Psychology. Mr. Rivera went on to earn his Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, with a concentration in mental health and a sub-concentration in military social work. He is a License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania. Mr. Rivera is currently employed at VA Pittsburgh as the Innovation Coordinator for the Caregiver Support Program. He also currently works as a casual relief pool therapist at Pittsburgh Mercy. His prior experience includes working for the PA Department of Corrections at SCI Pittsburgh & Fayette, UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital, and Pennsylvania Western University, California.
