Biography
A 2019 graduate of Penn State and the Greater Allegheny campus, Savanna (Simm) Anastas, returns to lead a program she is quite familiar with. Anastas was a player for the Greater Allegheny Softball program from 2016-19. She also served as the 2019 Fall Student Commencement Speaker.
A West Mifflin High School graduate, Anastas capped a successful high school career before coming to Greater Allegheny. Coach Anastas said, "I am proud to be back in the PSUGA community and honored to be chosen as head softball coach. I am excited to coach a team I once played for, where I can continue my life-long love and passion for the game."
