Penn State Greater Allegheny to host spring commencement on May 9

McKEESPORT, Pa. — Penn State Greater Allegheny will celebrate its spring commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday, May 9, in the Wunderley Gymnasium.

Kristin Sciulli, assistant director of Academic Affairs, will serve as grand marshal. Aubree Sample, a biobehavioral health degree candidate, will deliver the student address. August Carlino, who served as the president and chief executive officer of the Rivers of Steel Heritage Corporation in Homestead, Pennsylvania, will deliver the commencement address.

Barrett Scroggs, chief academic officer and interim director of academic affairs, will present the campus’ Academic Excellence Awards. Regional Chancellor Megan Nagel will then confer degrees.

Lawrence Dupak, a Penn State alumnus, will formally welcome graduates into the Penn State Alumni Association.
