On Tuesday, October 11, 2005 from noon ? 1:30 pm in the Student Community Center, we will sponsor another Advising Day program.
Academic advisers will be grouped by major and located at tables throughout the SCC Dining Hall and concourse.
Students should come with advising questions such as the Spring 2006 Entrance to Major process, Spring scheduling options, degree requirements, etc., or just to say hello to their advisers.
There will also be an eLion tutorial station, for students who would like some help in using the online advising system.
As an enticement to participate, all advisees who speak with their advisers at the Advising Day Program will receive two tickets. One can be used to enter a drawing for a Barnes and Noble Bookstore Gift Card. The other can be used to get Penn State Creamery Ice Cream.
Advising Day opened with an evening session at the Residence Hall. Over 26 students met with advisers and enjoyed ice cream and cookies. The event was planned by a student-faculty-staff committee chaired by Donna Rhodes.
