Fall 2014 art workshops on gender by Mary Collins

This fall there will be a series of art workshops as part of Teaching International and its theme this year of gender.

The workshops are an opportunity for hands-on exploration of art. led by Mary Collins, who teaches several different art classes at Penn State Greater Allegheny.

All three workshops will take place in 309 Ostermayer Laboratory during common period (12-1 pm). Attend any or all three.

Mary Collins earned a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied under Sam Gilliam.  She has taught art at the Carnegie Museum of Art, the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, and the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh.  She has attended several prestigious art residencies, some of which were at the Yaddo Art Workshop in Hudson Valley New York and the Triangle Art Workshop in Hudson Valley New York.
