Penn State Greater Allegheny has had a presence in the Pittsburgh and McKeesport area for over 50 years. In 2007, the campus changed its name from Penn State McKeesport to better showcase its regional involvement. The campus is 15 minutes outside of Pittsburgh and boasts a mix of suburban life and big city excitement.
From its hilltop location, McKeesport Hall overlooks the rest of the campus. The traditional hall offers a safe and comfortable living environment for on-campus students. The campus community is tailor-made for creating close friendships and developing interests with like-minded classmates.

Moving In & Moving Out
Moving In
Visit our #PSUArrival Website to learn more about moving into your room, including the check-in schedule, check-in locations, and helpful checklists.
All students should complete the eLiving room inspection form when they move into a room, either at the beginning of the semester or due to room changes mid-semester. Completing this form will identify any issues that existed in the room prior to your arrival so that you aren't charged for damage or missing items.
Moving Out
Everyone living in a residence hall room is responsible for the condition of that room at the time of check-out. Roommates need to develop a plan together for cleaning and getting the room back to its original move-in state. All students must check out and leave the residence halls by the day after their last final examination.
