Gender Neutral Housing
Housing and Food Services strives to provide a safe, inclusive, comfortable, and supportive living environment for all students residing on campus. We offer the option of gender-neutral housing for students who, because of gender identify or gender expression, prefer this option. This allows students who identify as transgender* and gender non-confirming* the ability to choose a roommate of any gender.
Housing Services
Housekeeping staff is available Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday, 9:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. to clean and maintain the residence hall.

Maintenance
Housing and Food Services employs one general maintenance employee to work on daily and routine residence hall problems. Some issues require outside vendors. Housing and Food Services has contracts with other Penn State departments and vendors to address certain areas, such as telephone service, cable TV, Ethernet connections, laundry facilities, and card access.
McKeesport Hall
With the recent addition of a community kitchen and new furniture in the lobby, the focus is on convenience and comfort at McKeesport Hall. Read on for details about the amenities we offer.
