College is a great time to expand your interests, discover your strengths, and develop your leadership skills. Penn State Greater Allegheny is the perfect place for that all of that to happen.
Through our more than 20 clubs and organizations, you will meet other students, plan activities, raise awareness for issues and causes, and perform community service.
Organizations such as the Psychological Association of Penn State Greater Allegheny, the Agricultural Science Club and the Penn State Greater Allegheny IST Club align with majors offered at Penn State.
You can put your creative talents to use with our Pep Band and our Concert Choir. Your communication skills will be welcomed by the staff of our campus newspaper, the GA-Zette, and at our WMKP Radio Station, broadcasting on the internet from our studio inside the Student Community Center.
THON, the largest student-run philanthropy, is championed by students in our Penn State Greater Allegheny Benefitting THON. Each year, members raise funds to fight childhood cancer and dance along side other Penn Staters in a 46 hour dance marathon.
No matter which organizations you choose to join, you will grow as an engaged citizen. Employers seek the skills you develop as a student leader, and our Center for Career Education and Development will help you develop a resume which highlights those skills.
