Emergency Assistance

If you are afraid that you will not be able to avoid hurting yourself or someone else, get help immediately.

  • Call 412-675-9130 or 911 or 988,
  • Call the Penn State Crisis Line at 877-229-6400, or text "LIONS" to 741741
  • Call the RESOLVE Crisis Network at 888-796-8226

988 and the Penn State Crisis Line can also be used for consultation if you know someone or are with someone who is experiencing a crisis. Faculty and staff may also refer to the Red Folder for additional information to assist students in distress.
