Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
The FAFSA becomes available in October. Submit it early with Penn State Greater Allegheny's school code (003329) to maximize your aid opportunities.
If you were in foster care or a ward of the court since turning 13, you may qualify as "independent" on the FAFSA. This status could make you eligible for additional resources such as campus coaches, emergency financial assistance, mentoring, and tuition support.
Note: Answering "yes" requires submission of a dependency review packet to Student Aid for verification.
