The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) program prepares certified EMTs to provide basic and limited advanced emergency care and transport for critical and emergent patients. AEMTs function as an essential link between the scene and the healthcare system, performing interventions under medical oversight using the basic and advanced equipment typically found on ambulances.
This program is ideal for EMTs looking to advance their clinical skills and expand their role within the EMS response team.
