Accelerated B.S. in Biobehavioral Health and Master of Public Health (MPH)

Earn two degrees in five years with our new accelerated Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health and Master of Public Health (MPH).  Earn your bachelor's degree at Greater Allegheny and complete your fifth year at The College of Medicine in Hershey. You will benefit from small class sizes, personalized attention, access to experienced faculty, and a strong partnership between our campus and Penn State's highly respected College of Medicine.

The Master of Public Health program (MPH) is designed to prepare you to improve the health of populations.  You learn to analyze data, influence public policy, study and monitor threats to public health, and conduct health research.  

MPH candidates can specialize in one of the following fields of interest:

  • Community and Behavioral Health
  • Epidemiology and Biostatistics
  • Global Health
  • Health Systems Organization and Policy

After earning an MPH, you could pursue careers in industries ranging from healthcare and pharmaceutical to nonprofits, research institutes and state and federal agencies.

Penn State Greater Allegheny

Located on 52-acres, Penn State Greater Allegheny is a residential campus offering 2 year and 4 year degree programs, including the Bachelor in Social Work program, starting in Summer 2022.  Students benefit from small class sizes, numerous on-campus job opportunities, and a Digital Fluency Project which places an iPad in the hands of each student.
