About the Program
Want to fast-track your career in health? Our accelerated program lets you earn a bachelor’s in Biobehavioral Health and a master’s in Public Health in just five years. You’ll combine the versatility of Biobehavioral Health with advanced public health expertise, all while enjoying small classes and personal attention from experienced faculty.

What You Can Expect
You’ll start building a strong foundation in health sciences at Penn State Greater Allegheny, then gradually move into graduate-level courses through Penn State Hershey College of Medicine and online options.
Years 1–3: On-campus at Greater Allegheny, learning Biobehavioral Health basics
Year 4: Graduate-level courses, in-person on campus and virtually with Hershey College of Medicine
Year 5: Complete your Master of Public Health, either in-person, online through Hershey, or via World Campus for the Global Health track
Throughout the program, you’ll develop skills in:
Community and behavioral health
Epidemiology and biostatistics
Global health
Health policy, systems, and management
Public health research and data analysis
Program Requirements
Minimum GPA: 3.25
Master of Public Health requires 42 credits; up to 15 can count toward your B.S.
Graduate-level courses begin during your senior year

- Third year students can apply for the Accelerated Master's in Public Health Program. Applications must be submitted by February 15.
