Since the turn of the 21st century, Penn State Greater Allegheny has proudly offered both Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Psychology. Bachelor of Arts Program: The B.A. degree offers a broad education in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. In addition to psychology courses, B.A. requirements include achieving competency in a foreign language, as well as additional credits in arts, humanities, social and behavioral sciences, and other cultures. This flexibility often allows students to pursue a minor or certificate in fields such as Child Development, Diversity Studies, Trauma Studies, or Crime, Psychology, and Public Policy.

Bachelor of Science Program: The B.S. degree offers two options requiring additional courses beyond psychology in natural sciences, math, and business, depending on students' interests. The Science option is suitable for those interested in science or pursuing careers in allied health, nursing, neuroscience, or medicine. The Business option is ideal for students considering careers in human resources, marketing, or other aspects of business.
