Our Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management program is a recent addition to our campus offerings. Whether you start and finish your degree here or transfer from another Penn State location for years three and four, you'll have the opportunity to explore the vibrant outdoor spaces and public parks in the Pittsburgh region.
The program prepares students for supervisory and administrative roles in various settings including park systems, environmental centers, commercial recreation and tourism agencies, schools, colleges, and more. With a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, students develop the skills needed to become leaders in the field.
