We Are Shadowing
The opportunities for undergraduate students to get a taste of the real world is possible through a shadowing experience. LionLink is a professional networking program that links Penn State students and alumni with alumni volunteer Career Coaches. Career Coaches provide valuable information and advice on jobs and careers to Career Explorers, who are alumni or students looking for a job or seeking career-related information. Students can access LionLink on the LionLink site.
We Are Interning
Today, internships are KEY to gaining employment after graduation. Successful Penn State Greater Allegheny graduates have interned in a variety of Fortune 500s, non-profit and educational settings including US Steel, The FBI, and the US Naval Academy.
We Are Working
With over 800,000 Nittany Lions worldwide (and the largest single population of alum here in Allegheny County), you can find a Penn State graduate working most anywhere. On average, Penn State Greater Allegheny graduates are employed within their field of study within the first 6 months after commencement.
