College Prep at G.A.M.E

Admissions

G.A.M.E offers a comprehensive guide to navigating the college admissions process. Participants receive detailed assistance to understand and complete applications for multiple post-secondary institutions. Key features include:

  • Application Process: Step-by-step guidance on completing applications efficiently and effectively.
  • Understanding Requirements: Clear explanations of admission criteria and necessary documentation.
  • Essay Writing Support: Assistance in crafting compelling personal statements and essays.

SAT/ACT Prep

Participants benefit from targeted preparation for standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT. This program provides:

  • Test-Taking Strategies: Tips and techniques to approach different sections of the exams confidently.
  • Academic Skills Enhancement: Methods to improve learning and retention of academic content.
  • College Readiness: Preparation to meet academic challenges and excel in college-level coursework.

Financial Aid (FAFSA, PHEAA, etc.)

G.A.M.E assists participants in navigating financial aid options to fund their education. Services include:

  • FAFSA Completion: Guidance and support through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process.
  • PHEAA Assistance: Information and assistance with Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) applications.
  • Scholarship Opportunities: Information on scholarships and grants to supplement financial aid packages.

Campus Tours

Participants have the opportunity to explore university facilities and campus life through in-depth tours. Features of the campus tour include:

  • Facilities Overview: Insight into academic buildings, libraries, residence halls, and recreational facilities.
