Mental Health Support: DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

At G.A.M.E., we prioritize mental health through our Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) sessions, which integrate cognitive behavioral techniques to foster personal growth and well-being. Here's what participants can expect:

  • Therapeutic Approach: DBT is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy principles, emphasizing mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

  • Session Format: Each session spans 1 hour and 30 minutes, structured to comprehensively cover:

    • Living in the Moment: Techniques to practice mindfulness and stay present in daily experiences.
    • Healthy Stress Coping: Strategies to manage stress effectively, promoting resilience and adaptive responses.
    • Emotional Regulation: Skills to identify, understand, and manage intense emotions in constructive ways.
    • Relationship Improvement: Tools to enhance interpersonal relationships through effective communication and boundary-setting.
  • Participant Engagement: Interactive sessions designed to engage participants actively in learning and applying DBT skills to real-life situations.

  • Benefits: By participating in DBT sessions at G.A.M.E., individuals develop practical tools to navigate challenges, enhance emotional well-being, and foster healthier relationships with themselves and others.

At G.A.M.E., we are committed to providing comprehensive mental health support through evidence-based practices like DBT, empowering participants to cultivate resilience and lead fulfilling lives. Join us in prioritizing mental health and well-being!
