The Internship Process

It’s best to start planning during your 4th or 5th semester so you can secure the right opportunity and meet important deadlines. Our structured internship process is designed to support your success from start to finish:
Register for the Internship Prep Course: Enroll in a one-credit course during your 4th or 5th semester to develop your application, networking, and interview skills.
Begin Your Internship Search: Start looking early, apply to multiple opportunities, and stay in touch with potential employers.
Collaborate with Advisors: Work with the campus internship coordinator and your faculty or staff advisor to finalize your internship legal learning agreement.
Submit Progress Reports: Keep everyone updated through Canvas with regular progress reports.
Complete Your Internship: End your experience by preparing a presentation and testimonial video to share what you’ve learned.
