In this session, we will demonstrate to faculty and staff how to identify and dismantle systems of oppression that exist in our everyday practices. Increasing awareness around inequitable systems will result in the design and development of more equitable programs and practices across campus.

For new Penn State graduates, ensuring career readiness is critical to successfully enter a competitive workforce in the 21st century. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), there are eight core competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for success in the workplace and lifelong career management. What are they? How can you use them? Where can you find them? You've got questions and we've got answers! This fun, engaging session will explore the competencies and examine practical ways to incorporate those career ready behaviors into everyday teaching and learning activities on and off campus. Bring your iPad and a sample activity or assignment to share in the session!
