Overview
Penn State Greater Allegheny is pleased to offer the Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology (IT). This four year degree will prepare students to implement and use information technology to realize a variety of goals within and between all types of organizations and businesses. Examples of those goals include reliability, accessibility, efficiency, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement.
What to Expect
With an option in Business Applications, students are prepared to pursue careers in Information Technology solving business organizational problems with an emphasis on the systems processes and business operations integration.
Students will take courses that focus on:

- Organization of Data
- Networking and Telecommunications
- Statistics
- Economics
- Information Security
