Our Initiative
Penn State Greater Allegheny's signature Digital Fluency Project is revolutionizing how our students, faculty, and staff enhance teaching, learning, and service. This initiative ensures that our campus community is equipped with the latest digital tools and skills needed for academic and professional success.
iPad Pickup
New students enrolled at Penn State Greater Allegheny can pick up their iPads during their scheduled New Student Orientation (NSO) sessions throughout the summer before their first semester. Transfer students enrolling for other semesters (Spring and Summer) can pick up their iPads at the GA Information Technology Help Desk located on the ground floor of the Crawford Building.
To schedule an appointment for iPad pickup, please contact the GA IT Help Desk at [email protected].
Required for iPad Pickup:
- PSU ID
- PSU Access Account Username (abc1234) and Password
- Proof of completed iPad Quiz (sent via PSU email prior to pickup)
- Apple ID and Password
Return and Purchase
Students who complete all four years at Greater Allegheny are eligible to keep their iPads upon graduation at no extra cost.
Students who transfer or withdraw must return their iPads to Greater Allegheny IT or can purchase the iPad at a depreciated cost. Graduating and transferring students ineligible to keep their iPads must return or purchase the device by the last day of finals for their respective semester. Failure to return the iPad or communicate with GA IT or the campus Bursar about the intent to purchase will result in the device being locked and a hold placed on the student's account.
