Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations

Penn State Greater Allegheny students can complete a 4-year cybersecurity analytics and operations degree program at our campus.

Overview

Cybersecurity is an increasingly vital field touching every industry. With digital exchanges becoming ubiquitous, safeguarding systems, networks, programs, and data against unauthorized access and attacks is paramount. Graduates of Penn State Greater Allegheny’s interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations program are well-equipped to enter a workforce where cybersecurity is of utmost importance. Delivered by the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST), our faculty bring a wealth of industry experience, research expertise, and educational acumen, providing students with the necessary tools to excel in the cybersecurity domain. Throughout the program, students develop proficiency in recognizing, analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks across various threats, ensuring the safety of digital assets.

What to expect

Penn State Greater Allegheny’s Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations program is designed to meet the rising demand for professionals capable of defending digital assets. Integrating technical prowess with effective communication skills, graduates are prepared to communicate critical information to diverse audiences. The curriculum covers key areas such as:
